Today in Periods 1, 3-7 students read primary sources that depicted the allure of the West for Americans living in the East.  We discussed how this pulled people on the California, Oregon, and Mormon Trails into the West.  DUE TOMORROW: Nothing.

Today in Periods 2 students read about Anasazi architectural and agricultural practices.  Then they heard the Navajo creation story as an example of Native American oral traditions.  DUE TOMORROW: Nothing.
