Utah Studies--Thursday, April 30, 2009

Today 7th graders completed our first annual Utah Studies Utah Service Day in conjunction with Herriman City government.  Students cleaned rodeo bleachers and stalls, weeded rodeo grounds, cleaned up the rock walls in Butterfield Park, put down more wood chips at the children's playgrounds, and so on!  Officer Anjeweirden from Salt Lake County Sheriff's Dept. came out to talk of the importance of civic pride.  One city worker thought the kids labor saved them 1 1/2 weeks of work!  Great job sevies, you rock!
