Today was a strange day. We had planned an outdoors Utah Studies Service Project day but due to the blustery weather early on it was canceled for morning classes. They read "Journey to Topaz" instead. The afternoon classes were able to participate in the service work. Thanks so much to all the many students, parents, school employees, and Herriman city employees who all chipped in! DUE TOMORROW: Learning Center Check #1 (20 points for Periods 1-2, 4-6; 10 points for Period 3).

Today in class students began watching a documentary called "Utah World War II Stories: Europe." This film interviewed Utah war veterans to preserve their stories for history. As students watched, they answered questions. DUE TOMORROW: Nothing.
