Utah Studies--Friday, December 18, 2009

Today in class students turned in the final draft of their essay! This was worth 60 points (a lot in my class). If it has not been turned in yet, there will be a zero in the grade book for that score until it is turned in. If there is just an asterisk there, that means it was turned in but I have yet to grade it. These essays take about 15 hours of total grading, so the process is slow. Also in class we began examining the impacts of the coming of the railroad on Utah's economy. DUE MONDAY: Nothing, unless the essay needs to be turned in still!
