B DAY: Today in class students compared John Smith's two versions (one written in 1608 and one in 1624) of his meeting with Emperor Powhatan.  Then students also began working on United States map skills.  DUE TODAY:  RLH Doc. 1 and 2.  DUE NEXT TIME: US Physical Map Assignment (end of class).
