B DAY:  Today in class students completed an essay test on how Manifest Destiny affected Westward Expansion.  Then they learned the geographic, climate, and economic reasons why slavery flourished in the South but died slowly in the North.  DUE TODAY:  Westward Expansion Essay.  DUE SOON:  SAGE 10 (next week).
