Today in Periods 1-4, 6 we finished discussing the effects that World War II had on Utah. We considered how a whole team effort (of the military, industries, women, immigrants, etc.) helped the US to win World War II. We also learned a bit about Navajo Code Talkers from Utah and how Japanese-Americans in the West were imprisoned during the war. DUE TOMORROW: Nothing, unless you wanted to turn in learning centers!!!!
Today in Period 5 we finished discussing the role of mining in Utah's history and we began discussing how the Great Depression began. DUE TOMORROW: Nothing, unless you wanted to turn in learning centers!!!!
