Today in class students finished writing their summaries from the day before. They also passed in the final draft of their essay. (If they did not finish this, it will seriously hurt their grade since it was worth many points!) Finally they also compared Herbert Hoover's plan to end the Great Depression to Franklin D. Today in class students played a game to simulate what it was like being a miner in Utah in the early 20th century. They had to decide whether or not they should go on strike after a pay cut. This scenario was based on the actual 1922 US Coal Mine Strike. DUE MONDAY: Nothing, unless you have a late family interview to turn in!
