Today in class students continued learning about Utah's part in World War II. We watched portions of a documentary film that interviewed Utahns who fought in the European theater of this war. DUE TOMORROW: Nothing, but many students still need to turn in late learning centers.

(If they did not finish this, it will seriously hurt their grade since it was worth many points!) Finally they also compared Herbert Hoover's plan to end the Great Depression to Franklin D. Today in class students played a game to simulate what it was like being a miner in Utah in the early 20th century. They had to decide whether or not they should go on strike after a pay cut.
