US History

B DAY: Today in class students read about what made the US Civil War the bloodiest in American history.  Then we went outside to simulate Civil War tactics as a way to illustrate how the weaponry was more evolved at that time than the military strategies. Finally student watched a video about the carnage at the Battle of Antietam.  DUE TODAY:  Nothing.  DUE SOON:  Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation Essay (next week).
