A DAY: Today in class students analyzed the words of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo in order to understand what happened to Mexican citizens who were incorporated into the United States after the Mexican War. Then students began writing an essay about Manifest Destiny and Native Americans. DUE TODAY: Nothing.  DUE FRIDAY: We will finish the Manifest Destiny/Native American essay.
