Today in Period 1, 5-7 students continued to play the Democracy game!  The class with the highest average score will win Rattle Cards!  DUE TOMORROW: Nothing.

Today in Period 1, 5-7 students took a quiz on the branches of Utah's government.  They also learned how to play "Democracy: The Game."  DUE TOMORROW: Nothing.  PS-Don't worry about voting because the library has been unexpectedly closed all week long.

Today in Period 1, 5-7 we reviewed the duties of the 3 branches of government and discussed how democracy and separation of powers work together.  Students also began learning how to play the democracy game.  DUE TOMORROW: Do not forget to vote and do not forget to sign in at the library that you voted (this is graded).

Today in Period 2 students learned about the devastating effect of disease on the Native American population.  Then they read more about what happened to Native American culture by reading chapter 7.  DUE TOMORROW: Do not forget to vote and do not forget to sign in at the library that you voted (this is graded).
